ADMINISTRATOR’S LETTER
We are now into the New Year at the Shreveport Lodge. If you missed Elvis, you missed a great time. If you didn’t make it to the New Year’s dance, again you missed a great time. What I am trying to say is, when you do not come out to the Lodge, you are missing out on great fun.
The Louisiana State Moose Association Mid Year State Convention will be held on March 4-7, 2010 in Alexandria. Please contact the Lodge for information and information on registering early.
We are starting a new Member Attendance Program, want to know more? Come to the Lodge and we will tell you about it. The Friday Night Donation Dance has some new opportunities, including dance lessons and a beverage special.
The new Moose year will start in May, so there will be an election of officers in April. Please start thinking about helping your Lodge by becoming an officer. There is no greater service you can perform for your Lodge than being an officer.
Please congratulate the five new members of Gator Legion 162 from our Lodge. They are Mike Cich, Ray Sharbono, Gary Fergurson, Douglas McDaniel, and Hal Herring. As you can see, there are many things going on at your Lodge, so come out and enjoy yourself. As always, see you around the Lodge.
Ken Kaufman, Administrator.
